Colombo, Sri Lanka, March 17 -- Sri Lanka Army issued the following press release:
Major General E.M.G.A Ambanpola assumed duties as the 26th Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps (SLASC) on 12 March 2025 at the Regimental Centre, Panagoda.
In accordance with military traditions, the incoming Colonel Commandant was accorded a Guard Turnout and a Guard of Honour. Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the formalities of the day.
Major General E.M.G.A Ambanpola is presently serving as the Commander Logistics Command, Security Forces Headquarters (West).
