NEW GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING OF THE 22 INFANTRY DIVISION COMMENCE HIS OFFICE

Colombo, Sri Lanka, Feb. 16 -- Sri Lanka Army issued the following press release:

As a 33rd General Officer Commanding of 22 Infantry Division, Major General H.D.L.S Perera RWP RSP ndc took over the duties on 13th February 2025 at an auspicious moment.

The new General Officer Commanding, 22 Infantry Division was received Guard Turnout and Guard of Honour at the 22 Infantry Divisional Headquarters. Then General Officer Commanding, 22 Infantry Division planted a sapling and addressed the troops.The event culminated with an All Ranks tea.

All staff of the 22 Infantry Division, Brigade Commanders and Commanding Officers participated in this event.
