Colombo, Sri Lanka, Jan. 31 -- Sri Lanka Army issued the following press release:
Brigadier C.D Wickramanayake WV RSP ndc, assumed duties as the new Director of the Directorate of Movement on 29th January 2025 during a simple ceremony at his new office in Army Headquarters.
He marked the assumption symbolically by placing his signature on an official document in the presence of several Officers of the Directorate.
He succeeds Brigadier S.W.R Prasanna RWP RSP USP, who has now been retired from the Sri Lanka Army. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Commander, 643 Infantry Brigade.
