MYANMAR DEFENCE ATTACHE CALLS ON THE COMMANDER OF THE ARMY

Colombo, Sri Lanka, Jan. 29 -- Sri Lanka Army issued the following news release:

Brigadier General Zaw Moe Lwin, Defence Attache of the Embassy of Myanmar in New Delhi accredited to Sri Lanka, paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, on 28th January 2025 at the Army Headquarters.

During the interactive discussion with the Commander of the Army, the Defence Attache admired the contributions made by the Army islandwide for the benefit of the nation.

The Army Chief highlighted the importance of further strengthening the collaboration in the future while recalling the longstanding relationship between the two nations. The meeting concluded with an exchange of mementoes.
