Colombo, Sri Lanka, March 4 -- Ministry of Defence and Urban Development issued the following news release:

The Indian Naval Ship (INS) Kuthar arrived at the Port of Colombo yesterday (Mar 3) for an official visit. In accordance with naval traditions, the vessel was warmly welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy, Navy media reports.

INS Kuthar, a 91.1-meter-long Corvette, is under the command of Commander Nitin Sharma. During their stay, the ship's crew members will have the opportunity to explore various tourist attractions in Colombo.

The vessel is scheduled to depart from Sri Lanka on March 6, it further says.
