Colombo, Sri Lanka, Dec. 10 -- Ministry of Defence and Urban Development issued the following news release:
Four Indian naval vessels, including INS Gharial and three Landing Craft Utility ships (L-51, L-54 and L-57), reached Sri Lanka on 07 and 08 December with humanitarian aid for communities affected by recent severe weather. The Sri Lanka Navy received the ships at the Colombo and Trincomalee ports with customary naval courtesies.
The relief consignment, coordinated by the High Commission of India, was formally handed over in the presence of Indian High Commissioner H.E.
