Colombo, Sri Lanka, March 22 -- Sri Lanka Army issued the following press release:
Major General K.D.M.L Samaradiwakara RWP RSP ndc psc assumed duties as the 18th General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 57 Infantry Division amidst religious blessings and military formalities at the Division Headquarters on 17 March 2025.
Upon arrival, he was accorded a Guard Turnout presented by the troops of the 8 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment. Following the formalities, the newly appointed GOC addressed his troops.
