A dog vaccination and sterilization programme was conducted from 24 March 2025 to 6 April 2025 by the 54 Infantry Division, in collaboration with Bridging Lanka and the veterinary partner "Vets for Future."
This initiative aimed to control the stray dog population and prevent the spread of diseases, contributing to a healthier environment. The event was carried out under the guidance of Major General K.M.P.S.B Kulatunga RSP ndc psc, Commander, Security Forces (Wanni), and supervised by Major General A.M.C.P Wijayarathne RWP RSP nps psc, General Officer Commanding of the 54 Infantry Division.
