As part of the on-going defence dialogue, Defence Secretary Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd) held a side-line meeting on Thursday (May 01) with Admiral Naveed Ashraf, Chief of the Naval Staff of Pakistan.
Defence Secretary was joined by the Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Kanchana Banagoda, Additional Secretary (Defence) of the Ministry of Defence Mr. Jayantha Edirisinghe, Sri Lanka Army Chief of Staff Major General Chandana Wickramasinge and Sri Lanka AirForce Chief of Staff Air Vice Marshal Lasitha Sumanaweera.
