The International Military Sports Council (CISM) Day Run was flagged off today (18 February 2025) at the Parliament Grounds. The Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo graced the event as the Chief Guest while the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe and Commanders of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Kanchana Banagoda took the lead in the run. Tri-forces personnel participated in the 'CISM Day Run' which covered a distance of over 2 km.
