Colombo, Sri Lanka, March 19 -- Sri Lanka Army issued the following press release:
A blood donation programme was organised by the 521 Infantry Brigade on 15 March 2025 at the Brigade premises.
The programme was conducted with the support of the Blood Bank of Point Pedro Base Hospital. Troops and civilians in the area voluntarily donated blood to replenish the critical blood supply of Point Pedro Base Hospital.
The event was carried out under the guidance of Brigadier P.S.K Ranathungamage RSP psc, the Commander of the 521 Infantry Brigade.
