Colombo, Sri Lanka, Feb. 21 -- Sri Lanka Army issued the following press release:
Major General P.S Subath Sanjeewa RSP nps psc assumed duties as the new General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 23 Infantry Division during a simple ceremony on 18 February 2025.
In accordance with military traditions, the GOC was accorded a Guard Turnout, followed by a Guard of Honour by the troops of the 23 Infantry Division.
Subsequently, he received a briefing on the Area of Responsibility (AOR) during the staff briefing. Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the event.
