Colombo, Sri Lanka, Feb. 9 -- Sri Lanka Army issued the following press release:
Symbolizing the 77th National Independence Day, a programme to distribute school stationery materials including (school bags, shoes, books and water bottles) among school students was held on 04th February 2025 at Kirimatiyawa Gamini Vidyalaya, Kekirawa under the direction of Brigadier B.A.M.P Balasooriya RSP, the Commander 212 Infantry Brigade.
32 children benefited from donations and Mr. Jagath Kumara provided much-required financial assistance for the donation.
The 7(V) Sri Lanka Armoured Corps coordinated the event and provided a delicious lunch to all students and the school staff.
