Troops of 1 Corps marked the Sinhala and Tamil New Year with festive events on 04 and 05 April 2025. In line with the event, the 53 Infantry Division (RSF) conducted a softball cricket tournament and a traditional New Year festival. Major General K.H.M.S Wickramaratne RSP, General Officer Commanding, 53 Infantry Division (RSF), graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
