Jakarta, Nov. 12 -- At the 43rd ASEAN Coordinating Committee on Customs (CCC) Meeting on 12 November 2025, ASEAN held its 15th ASEAN-Private Sector Consultation Session, reaffirming our shared commitment to make it easier and faster to do business across ASEAN.

Customs officials and the Joint Business Councils (JBC) discussed ways to expand electronic document exchange through the ASEAN Single Window (ASW), enhance cooperation to combat illicit trade, increase the use of the ASEAN Customs Transit System (ACTS), and explore alignment of (Harmonized System) HS codes for reused and recycled goods in the next ASEAN Harmonised Tariff Nomenclature (AHTN 2028).
