Singapore, April 19 -- At the invitation of the Honourable Dato Erywan Pehin Yusof, Minister of Foreign Affairs II of Brunei Darussalam, Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, will participate in the Regional Workshop on Climate Change, to be held in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam, on 21 April 2025. SG Dr. Kao will deliver remarks during the Opening Ceremony of the Regional Workshop, together with the Honorable Dato Erywan Pehin Yusof and the President of ERIA, Professor Tetsuya Watanabe. The workshop is expected to help shape the operational framework of the ASEAN Centre for Climate Change and transition finance strategies, ensuring a robust start to ASEAN's collaborative climate action efforts.
