Jakarta, Sept. 25 -- Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today participated in the 21st AEM-EU Trade Commissioner Consultation, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Meeting reaffirmed the long-term vision to establish a region-to-region Free Trade Area between ASEAN and the EU. The Meeting discussed ways to strengthen the economic partnership between ASEAN and the EU in accelerating regional economic integration efforts, particularly in areas of mutual interest such as digital trade, green transition and supply chain resilience.
