Jakarta, Sept. 24 -- Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today joined the Economic Ministers from ASEAN, the People's Republic of China, Japan, and the Republic of Korea for the 28th AEM-Plus Three (APT) Consultation in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Consultation focused on accelerating the implementation of the APT Economic Cooperation Work Plan 2025-2026. The APT countries reaffirmed their shared commitment to deepening economic integration, strengthening regional supply chain resilience, and accelerating cooperation in key areas such as the digital economy and sustainable development to ensure the region's long-term resilience and prosperity.
