Jakarta, Sept. 24 -- Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today participated in the 24th AEM-MOFCOM Consultation, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Meeting discussed the preparations for the signing of the ACFTA 3.0 Upgrade Protocol and reaffirmed the target to sign the ACFTA 3.0 Upgrade Protocol at the sidelines of the 28th ASEAN-China Summit in October 2025. Additionally, the Meeting exchanged views on regional and global economic situation and discussed ways to strengthen ASEAN-China economic cooperation.
