Hanoi, Vietnam, Feb. 23 -- The airport served 124,546 passengers, marking the highest daily throughput ever recorded at northern Viet Nam's largest aviation hub. Of the total, 48,837 were international travelers, while 75,709 flew on domestic routes.

This was the busiest day in the airport's operational history, with 702 flights taking off and landing, including 317 international and 385 domestic services.

Congestion at the international terminal was eased significantly thanks to the expansion of Terminal T2, which has been in operation since late 2025.
