Hanoi, Vietnam, Jan. 8 -- During the year, Japan continued to be the top destination, receiving more than 64,600 Vietnamese workers, followed by Taiwan with over 57,000 workers and South Korea with more than 11,600 workers.
Notably, alongside traditional markets, several European markets such as Germany, Poland, Hungary, and Romania recorded a upward trend, particularly in the fields of nursing, caregiving, and technical labor, signaling gradual shift toward markets with higher requirements for skills and qualifications.
A number of memoranda of understanding on labor cooperation with foreign countries and partners were signed or extended during the year, creating a stable legal framework for manpower export in the coming period.
