Fifth Issue of ASEAN Economic Integration Brief Released

JAKARTA, June 18 -- The ASEAN Secretariat has released the latest issue of the ASEAN Economic Integration Brief (AEIB). This issue presents regular features such as overview of the global and regional economic outlook, a summary of latest updates and progress of the ASEAN Economic Community, and the latest statistics.

Consistent with the overall theme of Thailand's 2019 ASEAN Chairmanship, 'Advancing Partnership for Sustainability', this issue of the AEIB features a contribution from Dr. Armida Salsiah Alisjahbana, the Under Secretary-General of the United Nations and the Executive Secretary of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP).
