JAKARTA, April 28 -- The 2nd EU-ASEAN Workshop on Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) took place virtually over two days with speakers and participants including transport officials from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Member States (AMS) and the European Union (EU), ASEAN Secretariat, ITS experts and practitioners from Europe and ASEAN regions.
The event was opened by Grace Ong, Director, Transportation Technology Group, Land Transport Authority (LTA) of Singapore and Herald Ruijters, Director for Investment, Innovative & Sustainable Transport, Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport (DG MOVE), European Commission (EC). Closing remarks were given by Lukas Gajdos, Deputy Head of Mission, EU Mission to ASEAN.
