Jakarta, Feb. 9 -- Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community, H.E. San Lwin, received a courtesy call from the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to ASEAN, H.E. Wang Qing, at the ASEAN Headquarters in Jakarta on 9 February 2026. The meeting aimed to further strengthen the ASEAN-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and explore strategic avenues for enhancing collaboration within the Socio-Cultural Community. Both sides focused on the effective implementation of the new ASEAN-China Plan of Action (2026-2030) and highlighted key priority areas of cooperation, including culture and people-to-people exchanges, education, youth, health, and disaster management.
