SINGAPORE, Sept. 26 -- Thirty participants representing ASEAN Food Safety regulators participated in a workshop on the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Implementation of the Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) on prepared Foodstuff products (PF) held in Singapore on 25 - 27 September.

The participants made progress in finalising the draft SOPs, setting the stage for the adoption of the procedures by the end of the year by the Joint Sector Committee of MRA on PF that oversees the implementation of the MRA.
