PHNOM PENH, Oct. 15 -- Today, ASEAN launched the ASEAN Agreement on Disaster Management and Emergency Response (AADMER) Work Programme 2026-2030. The launch took place during the Welcome Ceremony of the 13th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Disaster Management (AMMDM) and 14th Meeting of Conference of the Parties (COP) to the ASEAN Agreement on Disaster Management and Emergency Response (AADMER) and related meetings held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
The launch marks a pivotal step in ASEAN's mission to build a disaster-resilient region capable of withstanding increasing risks. The AADMER Work Programme 2026-2030 is a project supported by the Government of Japan through Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF).
