BANGKOK, April 29 -- Senior Officials of ASEAN and India discussed a range of cooperation to further strengthen ASEAN-India strategic partnership at the 23rd ASEAN-India Senior Officials Meeting held yesterday.
The meeting exchanged views on the developments in ASEAN and India, including responses to the COVID-19 pandemic, post-pandemic recovery and explored potentials for cooperation in the post-pandemic phase.
Thet two sides discussed ways and means to further strengthen cooperation in several areas of mutual interest, including counter terrorism, violent extremism and transnational crimes, maritime cooperation, enhanced regional connectivity, trade and finance, investment and economic cooperation.
