MANAMA, Aug. 25 -- Indian Prime Minister Narendra has reasserted that India will be made into a $5-trillion economy while being conferred The King Hamad Order of the Renaissance by Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa here.
"We aim to make India a $5-trillion economy," Modi said while receiving the award Saturday.
"We would like Bahrain to partner India more closely for shared progress."
Accepting the honour on behalf of all Indians, Modi said that this is a recognition of the close and friendly relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and India.
