New Delhi, April 15 -- President Joe Biden has asked Pakistan and India and other regional countries to pitch in to help stabilize Afghanistan as the US pulls out its troops ending a 20-year-old war in a pivot away from the area.

Announcing on Wednesday his plans to unconditionally bring home the last of the US military by 9/11 this year, he said, "We'll ask other countries -- other countries in the region -- to do more to support Afghanistan, especially Pakistan, as well as Russia, China, India, and Turkey. They all have a significant stake in the stable future for Afghanistan."
