New Delhi, June 26 -- There are perhaps no examples in history of a favorite sport of a great colonizer being so thoroughly re-colonized by its former colonies as cricket is by South Asians. The ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 is a remarkable example of that. Tens of thousands of South Asian visitors-according to some unconfirmed reports 80,000-have descended upon Britain to attend the World Cup matches.
