New Delhi, Jan. 21 -- Los Angeles-based filmmaker Danish Renzu's debut film "Half Widow", that had a limited theatre release in India earlier this month, will now be shown in Pune, Hyderabad, Kochi, Mumbai, Noida, Chandigarh and Bengaluru.

The film depicts the story of Neela, a newly-wed Kashmiri woman whose husband is picked up from their home one night by men dressed in Indian army uniforms.

The film is made by a Los Angeles based Kashmiri filmmaker, shot in Kashmir, has an entirely Kashmiri cast and is in Urdu-Kashmiri language.

The filmmakers said they are humbled with the positive response the film got at its initial release in India. They hope to bring this film to the Kashmir audience soon.
