New Delhi, Dec. 4 -- Vienna-headquartered Wienerberger AG, the E3.3 billion global construction giant, has said it will invest Rs 30 crores at its Kunigal factory in Tumkur, Karnataka. The investment will be used to reduce carbon emission by switching to natural gas as a fuel, enhance production capacity by 25%, and launch new solutions.

"When it comes to using electrical energy in the factory, 95% of the factory requirement is met through renewable energy sources of solar and wind.
