New Delhi, Feb. 27 -- The recent imposition of reciprocal tariffs by the United States on Indian imports is a wake-up call for our exporters, especially for MSMEs who export to the US. These tariffs, definitely, are not just another policy shift and are indeed a direct hit to our competitiveness in one of our largest markets. As costs rise, our products will become less attractive to US buyers, which in turn will force them to look elsewhere. In a broader scenario this is not just about losing customers, it is about losing entire market segments that our businesses have worked hard to build over decades.
