New Delhi, Nov. 7 -- The sales trend for luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz India is positive in this segment, and from second half of the next calendar year, the turbulence caused by migration from BS IV to BS VI emission norms would settle down, a top company official said on Thursday.

The comments were made by Mercedes-Benz India Managing Director and CEO Martin Schwenk, who was here to launch the comnpany's Rs 1.10 crore luxury multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) V-Class Elite.

Speaking to reporters after thge event, Schwenk said: "During the festival season we delivered 800 units. This year we crossed sales of 10,000 cars early October. We sold 11,789 units during the first nine months of 2018. Last calendar year we sold 15,338 units."
