India, Sept. 1 -- Under the mandate, Protean will set up dedicated infrastructure and provide end-to-end managed services for Aadhaar enrolment, demographic/biometric updates, and other walk-in citizen services
Protean eGov Technologies Ltd. (formerly NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Ltd.) has been awarded a landmark contract to establish and operate Aadhaar Seva Kendras (ASKs) across 188 districts in the country, by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), the statutory authority for Aadhaar, under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). This work order is valued at approx. Rs.1160 Cr (exclusive of taxes) and the total deal size amounting to approx. Rs.1370 Cr crores (inclusive of taxes).
