Hyderabad, Dec. 11 -- With phase one of the Telangana local body elections drawing to a close, Karimnagar saw 46.39 percent turnout till 11:00 AM.
In Karimnagar there are a total of 91 gram panchayats and 1,53,195 voters, including 74,618 males, 78, 670 female voters and seven others. A total of 71,066 votes were polled by 11:00 AM, and the voter turnout was 46.39 per cent.
In Jagtiyal district, there are 2,18,194 voters including 1,02,238 males, 1,15,955 females and one other. As of 11:00 AM 1,03,936 votes were polled and the voter turnout was 47.63 percent.
