Hyderabad, Jan. 30 -- In a significant development in the phone tapping case that has stirred controversy in Telangana, the High Court has granted bail to former Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Bhujang Rao and former Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Radhakrishna Rao.

The court's decision follows a lengthy period of detention for the accused, who have been implicated in allegations of unauthorized surveillance.

The Telangana High Court stipulated that both defendants must furnish two sureties of Rs 1 lakh each and submit their passports.

Additionally, the court emphasized the necessity for them to cooperate with ongoing investigations related to the case.
