Hyderabad, Sept. 11 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Thursday appealed to the railway authorities to start a bullet train service from Hyderabad to Andhra Pradesh's capital Amaravati and even to Chennai.

Amaravati is currently being developed as AP's new capital and is the brainchild of Andhra CM Chandrababu Naidu. Post bifurcation of AP and Telangana, even though Hyderabad was technically a joint capital between both states, Naidu in his first term as AP chief minister decided to build Amaravati and moved the government to AP.
