Hyderabad, Jan. 1 -- In a tragic incident on New Year's Day in New Orleans, a car crashed into a group of people atleast killing 10 people and injuring 30 others. The SUV collided with pedestrians near the intersection of Bourbon Street and Iberville at around 3:15 am, WGNO reported.

According to reports, Bourbon Street has been blocked off and emergency personnel have arrived at the scene.

Further investigation is ongoing.
