Hyderabad, Jan. 23 -- Heavy police was deployed at the Telangana Bhavan, office of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), and the Jubilee Hills Police Station since Friday morning, January 23, as Sircilla MLA and the party's working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) appeared before the police in connection with the investigation into the phone-tapping case.
The Special Investigation Team of the Telangana Police investigating the case issued a notice to KTR to appear before it on Friday at 11 am.
KTR started in a convoy of vehicles from his residence to the Telangana Bhavan. After meeting party leaders, he left for the Jubilee Hills Police Station. The police made tight security arrangements at Telangana Bhavan to prevent trouble.
