Hyderabad, June 28 -- The 12-day war between Israel and Iran has raised a very pertinent question: Why the United States did not directly intervene in the first ten days to save Israel from being ruined by Iran?
The American troops stationed all over the Gulf countries and in warships in the vicinity remained engaged in picnicking and did not fire a single shot on the nearby Iranian military and naval bases even when the latter's missiles on the very third day of the war (June 15) destroyed Israel's Weizmann Institute of Science, one of the world's top centres of scientific research with which six Nobel Prize winners were associated.
