Hyderabad, July 2 -- The New Zealand Muslim Association Inc. (NZMA) has announced with deep sorrow the sudden passing of Br. Anees Jalil, a dedicated and respected member of the Muslim community.

In an official statement, NZMA expressed its heartfelt condolences to Br. Anees Jalil's family, acknowledging his long-standing service and contributions. Br. Anees, fondly known as Hajji Anees, held various leadership roles within NZMA, including serving on the NZMA executive and the Avondale Islamic Centre branch committee for many years.
