Hyderabad, May 7 -- Amid rumours of the cancellation of Operation Abhyaas, the mock drill scheduled to be carried out across states, including Hyderabad, on Wednesday, May 7, the Cyberabad police have issued a clarification saying the exercise will proceed as planned.

"There are some reports circulating that the mock exercise has been cancelled. These reports are incorrect. The exercise will proceed as planned," said a press release from Cyberabad police on Wednesday.

The mock drill will be conducted at 4:00 pm as part of the nationwide civil defence preparedness initiative.
