Hyderabad, May 20 -- The Drugs Control Administration (DCA) of Telangana raided an unlicensed medical shop in Alwal, Medchal-Malkajgiri district, and seized medicines worth around Rs 30,000.
Acting on a tip-off, DCA officials raided the premises in Bank Colony, West Venkatapuram, where one YV Subba Rao was found operating the shop without a valid drug license. Officials discovered 20 types of medicines, including antifungal drugs, painkillers, and erectile dysfunction pills, stocked and sold illegally.
The seized medicines have been sent for analysis, and legal proceedings are being initiated against those involved.
