Sanaa, Sept. 10 -- Israeli airstrikes have hit the Yemeni capital of Sanaa on Wednesday, September 10, the Houthi-run Al Masirah TV reported. This strike comes after Israel's Tuesday, September 9, attack in Qatar, which targeted Hamas leadership in Doha.

In a post on X, military spokesman Brig Gen Yahya Saree, confirmed Wednesday's strikes.

Taking to X, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that they struck military targets belonging to the Houthi regime in the areas of Sanaa and Al Jawf in Yemen.

The Iran-backed rebel group has controlled much of northwestern Yemen since 2014.
