Hyderabad, March 4 -- A major fire broke out at a shed under the recently opened Amberpet flyover, at Chey number cross road in Hyderabad on Tuesday, March 4.

Officials at Musheerabad fire station told Siasat.com that the fire took place under the flyover where a shed had plastic wastage in it.

"Nearby the shed, welding works were going on. Sparks from it reached the shed and the plastic waste inside caught fire. The fire then rose to the plastic pipes on the flyover, which caused the accident," the fire officer said.

The officer confirmed that no casualties were reported. "The fire has been doused. Moreover, commuters using the flyover were not harmed. There is no need to panic," the officer said.
