Hyderabad, March 15 -- Six IT employees reportedly sustained serious burn injuries in a fire accident that took place inside GAR Building in Kokapet on Saturday evening, March 15.

They have been shifted to the Continental Hospitals for treatment.

Fire tenders reached the spot and doused the flames. Preliminary investigations reveal a cylinder blast at a nearby restaurant caused the fire which quickly spread in the adjacent building.

Soon after the fire spread, around 1000 IT employees working in the GAR building, which serves as an office space in the city, were evacuated.
