Hyderabad, Oct. 22 -- Relatives of Sreepada Naresh, whose body has remained unclaimed in a Bahrain mortuary for the past five years, have made an appeal to the Telangana government to repatriate his mortal remains to India.
Naresh, a native of Metpally town, had migrated to Bahrain in July 2007 in search of employment. He initially worked with Al Hamad Construction & Development Company in Manama as a construction labourer and later as a Bobcat operator and diesel mechanic.
After leaving the company, Naresh became an undocumented worker and continued to stay in Bahrain as an overstayer after his passport expired a decade ago.
