Hyderabad, March 19 -- Congress Rajya Sabha member Anil Kumar Yadav has demanded the central government to establish an Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Hyderabad.

He raised this issue during the Zero Hour in the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday, March 18.

Yadav emphasized that to sustain the growth of Hyderabad, which has transformed into a global hub, there is a need for quality human resources, and establishing an IIM is essential for this purpose.

No plans for an IIM in Telangana: Centre

The Centre, in December 2024, suggested that there were no plans to establish an Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Telangana.
