HYDERABAD, Jan. 28 -- City police are still on a spree of booking cases against the CAA and NRC protestors.

In a fresh police action, Humayun Nagar police have booked cases against a group of women who were reportedly involved in a flash protest on Monday night in Mehdipatnam.

Police went in a tizzy after a group of women led by Shiraz Khan and Nadia Khan staged an impromptu sit-in protest at Mehdipatnam near Rythu Bazaar forcing police to sound alert in the area. Soon after the news of flash protest reached the police, teams of Humayun Nagar and adjoining police stations swung into action and tried to disperse the protestors.
